Women 30 years and older and men 35 years and older are eligible to join the VCV.

All riders must be current VCV members. Two free try out races (within a 30 day period) are available to people who have never raced with the Vets before.

2015 South Pacific Championships Results
Held at Maryborough, Victoria
Easter Weekenk - 3rd to 5th April 2015

Grampians members once again put in some great rides at the South Paicific Veteran Cycling Championships, held at Maryborough over the Easter weekend.

In Friday's age group road races, Shane Miller and Veronica Micich both won their age groups, Meg Parnaby was 2nd, Alan McCulloch was 4th, Steve Monks 6th, Peter Parnaby 11th and Geoff Richards 14th.

In Saturdays sprints, Shane Miller, Veronica Micich and Meg Parnaby all placed 1st in their age groups.

In the Time Trial Saturday afternoon, Shane Miller (46.45kph) and Veronica Micich (37.43) were 1st, Meg Parnaby 2nd (34.33kph), Steve Monks 3rd (42.11kph), Alan McCulloch 4th (41.55kph), Geoff Richards 8th (40.53kph) and Danny Monaghan 10th (37.82kph).

In Sundays crits, Veronica Micich and Meg Parnaby were 1st, Shane Miller 2nd and Alan McCulloch was 3rd.

Age group aggregate winners were Shane Miller, Veronica Micich and Meg Parnaby.

Congratulations to all riders who competed. It was a great weekend of great racing, and the weather held out well until after the Cec Cripps on Monday. Meg Parnaby placed 8th in the Cec Cripps, with Shane Miller taking out fastest time.
