Women 30 years and older and men 35 years and older are eligible to join the VVCC.

All riders must be current VVCC members. Two free try out races (within a 30 day period) are available to people who have never raced with the Vets before.

12km Mount Dryden Time Trial

Ideal conditions led to fast times for the 12km time trial, with Jason Shipcott blasting a huge 49 seconds off his previous best time to record the fastest time of the day, with 17 minutes and 3 seconds, an average speed of 42.23kph. This set a new course record.

Crystal Wemyss recorded the next best time of 17 minutes 49 seconds, an average speed of 40.41kph, with Steve Monks third with a time of 17.56, an average speed of 40.15kph.

Steve Monks was the most improved rider on past performances, taking 81 seconds of his previous best time.

Crystal Wemyss took out the age adjusted time section, beating her age expected time by the most, taking a massive 2 minutes 34 seconds off. Jason Shipcott was next best with 2 minutes 13 seconds off closely followed by Steve Monks the next best with 2 minutes 11 seconds off.
